PRESERVE OUR WELL-BEING AND THAT OF THE PLANET IS REALLY SO EXPENSIVE?

The fashion industry between success and pollution

Ethical and responsible fashion should be a commitment for all of us because it will surely allow a better future for our planet and for our future generations.

In fact, there is no doubt that the fashion industry, as it is set today, is highly impacting on the environment as it uses many low quality polluting raw materials, mostly coming from oil substances.

In this view of ideas, the fashion market does not become risky only for the environment that surrounds us, but also for workers who find themselves cutting and sewing fabrics made of raw materials that are harmful to their health, not to mention the hours , conditions and wages at the limit of human dignity.

But why, then, do so many brands act in this way? Obviously to reduce costs and to be able to respond easily and quickly to an increasingly growing demand in the sector.

The solution is to propose and follow a responsible fashion

The remedy for all this exists and is to aim towards an ethical fashion, which uses quality raw materials, natural and vegan, and which therefore takes on the tones of a slow fashion and not as fast as that offered continuously by large retailers.

Ethical and responsible fashion, in addition to choosing to use only raw materials with zero environmental impact, offers decent working conditions and salaries to its employees.

All this translates into the care and attention of every phase and of every clothing manufacturing sector, starting from the meticulous research of the best natural fibers, which exclude any risk once you come into contact with the skin of people and any form of pollution.

Always on this wavelength, ethical fashion proposes an industry model that is able to emit no toxic waste in the environment and in the waters surrounding the production factory.

As regards, instead, the workers of the sector, the responsible fashion proposes them a fair and safe work model, without the constant fear of precariousness, without exposing them to unnecessary risks and guaranteeing them a decent salary, which can make them proud of their work .

In addition to this, the brands that embrace an ethical fashion have to deal with many other precautions and certifications that will have, as a logical consequence, an increase in the price on the card displayed in the shops.

That’s why local craftsmanship, or at least a great brand that adopts the criteria of an ethical fashion, proposes clothing items at higher prices than those offered by the usual large-scale retail trade, but this should not stop you from always preferring them during your purchases.

Remember, in fact, that an item of clothing of this type is certainly of undoubted quality, it will therefore last for a long time, it will not cause the slightest risk to your health and moreover it will favor the growth of a responsible fashion, on the side of the future of the planet and its inhabitants.
