HOW TO REINVENT THE VINTAGE GARMENTS?
OPEN YOUR WARDROBE AND RACE VALUE TO YOUR OLD DRESSES AND YOU’LL ALSO BE A SUSTAINABLE FASHION STORE
Responsible fashion: dream or reality?
Nowadays, it is of fundamental importance to try to direct our efforts towards a responsible fashion, which points to the elimination of environmental pollution and eliminates the risks on the health of its customers.
All this would not be impossible if each of us did our part and minded this would not require great efforts but a minimum sense of duty.
In fact, it would be sufficient for us all to completely abolish the purchase of low-quality garments, only because they meet our aesthetic criteria and are offered to us at a low cost but we went to prefer better quality clothes, manufactured with natural raw materials and therefore without any environmental impact.
Avoid the accumulation of clothes from the new life at the bottom of your closets
To avoid falling into the compulsive shopping network that will make you bring more and more clothes home, perhaps using only a small part of it, I advise you to leave by opening your closets and aiming for recovery action.
Don’t be scared, you won’t have to spend a fortune to revive your old skirt or a jacket used only during a ceremony. A pinch of imagination will be enough to give a new life to these dresses and then be able to show them off again, as if for the first time.
All you have to do is perform simple actions: shorten or lengthen the skirt, sew a new app on the jacket, glue sequins or glitter to an old pair of jeans, add a belt to the waist of an old dress and if you are not absolutely adept with the needle and the thread, you can turn to your trusted seamstress or a person dear to you, who will be able to give new life to your clothes and follow a responsible fashion trend.
All those items of clothing that you just won’t be able to change and wear them again, instead, you can always use them to make new things, such as a carnival suit, a dress for your daughter’s dolls, towels for the home, flaps or any another idea that comes to mind.
It is easier to do than to say, you will see, and with a little imagination, you will be able to avoid new expenses and aim for an eco-fashion, which will surely satisfy you.
Recovering vintage garments is beautiful teaching against waste
You don’t have to think that vintage is no longer fashionable, on the contrary, there are many people who make this fashion their prerogative, without you even knowing it. The important thing is always to show off new clothes in a casual and safe way.
Remember a very important thing, besides doing good work for you and for your planet, recovering the clothes in your closet and giving them a new life, you will also offer excellent teaching to the people next to you, especially in the event that I was a mother and I had children.
In fact, starting from the education of the new generations, in fact, we can aim for a better future, which has an absolute need to limit the environmental impact and therefore to increasingly turn to a responsible fashion.
